{"id":479035,"date":"2023-02-05T19:11:50","date_gmt":"2023-02-05T17:11:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=479035"},"modified":"2023-02-05T19:30:07","modified_gmt":"2023-02-05T17:30:07","slug":"eskom-updates-load-shedding-timetable-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/energy\/479035-eskom-updates-load-shedding-timetable-2.html","title":{"rendered":"Eskom updates load-shedding timetable"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Eskom has announced that it plans to have alternating stage 3 and stage 4 load-shedding on Monday and Tuesday, and hopes to reduce the level of power cuts by Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStage 3 load-shedding will be implemented at 05:00 \u2013 16:00 daily, while stage 4 load-shedding will be implemented nightly at 16:00 \u2013 05:00 on both Monday and Tuesday,\u201d the state-owned power utility said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn Wednesday, stage 2 load-shedding will be implemented at 05:00 \u2013 16:00, followed by stage 3 load-shedding at 16:00 \u2013 05:00.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Eskom reported that since Saturday, two generation units at Arnot and a single unit each at Camden, Duvha and Kendal power stations were taken offline for repairs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe return to service of a generation unit each at Kendal and Lethabo power stations have been delayed, while a unit each at Duvha and Lethabo power stations were returned to service.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Breakdowns represent 15,215MW of generating capacity, while 5,199MW was offline for scheduled maintenance.<\/p>\n<div class=\"mybb_table\">\n<div class=\"table-responsive\"><table class=\"table\" style=\"width: 100%;
