{"id":484285,"date":"2023-03-17T13:22:10","date_gmt":"2023-03-17T11:22:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=484285"},"modified":"2023-03-17T13:37:34","modified_gmt":"2023-03-17T11:37:34","slug":"microsoft-365-gets-copilot-ai-powered-automation-for-office-apps","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/software\/484285-microsoft-365-gets-copilot-ai-powered-automation-for-office-apps.html","title":{"rendered":"Microsoft 365 gets Copilot \u2014 AI-powered automation for Office apps"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Microsoft has <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/microsoft-365\/blog\/2023\/03\/16\/introducing-microsoft-365-copilot-a-whole-new-way-to-work\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">revealed<\/a><\/strong> Copilot, an artificial intelligence-powered tool for Microsoft 365 that can create content in Office apps using text prompts.<\/p>\n<p>It combines large language models with user data in the Microsoft Graph \u2014 including calendars, emails, chats, documents, meetings, and more \u2014 and Microsoft 365 apps.<\/p>\n<p>The company unveiled the feature at its Future of Work event on Thursday, 16 March 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Users can ask PowerPoint to create presentations based on Word documents, for example, and get it to apply animations or styles across all slides.<\/p>\n<p>It applies to other apps as well.
