{"id":4875,"date":"2008-08-19T02:26:00","date_gmt":"2008-08-19T00:26:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2008-08-19T02:26:00","modified_gmt":"2008-08-19T00:26:00","slug":"telkom-adsl-performance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/adsl\/4875-telkom-adsl-performance.html","title":{"rendered":"Telkom ADSL performance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>According to Telkom&rsquo;s key performance indicators for April to June 2008, its ADSL service had an international packet loss of 0.28% with a &ldquo;maximum average&rdquo; packet loss of 71%.<\/p>\n<p>The information indicates an average local packet loss of 0.23% with an average maximum packet loss of 27.78%.<\/p>\n<p>When it comes to international latency &#8211; measured to Amsterdam, Ashburn, Hong Kong, London and New York &ndash; the average was 271ms with a average maximum latency of 509ms and a average minimum of 182ms.
