{"id":4877,"date":"2008-08-19T02:31:00","date_gmt":"2008-08-19T00:31:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2008-08-19T02:31:00","modified_gmt":"2008-08-19T00:31:00","slug":"top-cellphone-brands","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/cellular\/4877-top-cellphone-brands.html","title":{"rendered":"Top cellphone brands"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The recent Business Times Top Brands survey shed some light on which cellular phone brands are the most recognised and respected.<\/p>\n<p>The survey focused on consumers and business leaders and the results of various areas of questioning were expressed as a Brand Relationship Score.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>According to the Business Times Top Brands survey team the Brand Relationship Score provides a holistic overview of the brand&rsquo;s health.<\/p>\n<p>Nokia was voted the top cellphone brand with a brand relationship score of 64.4%.&nbsp; Nokia was also the seventh most popular overall brand in South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>Samsung was the second most popular cellphone brand in the 2008 survey, overtaking Motorola who lost dropped one place to third from the 2007 ranking.<\/p>\n<p>LG, Sony Ericsson, Siemens, Alcatel, Philips, Panasonic and Sagem completed filled out the top 10.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>It is interesting to note that the soon-to-be-launched Apple iPhone did not appear in the survey &ndash; but it is a brand that can be expected to do well in future surveys.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php?t=132081\"><strong>Cellphone brand discussion<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Top Brands survey sheds light on which phones are hot<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[14],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-4877","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-cellular"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/4877"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=4877"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/4877\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=4877"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=4877"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=4877"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
