{"id":48997,"date":"2012-05-02T08:36:16","date_gmt":"2012-05-02T06:36:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=48997"},"modified":"2012-05-02T09:38:54","modified_gmt":"2012-05-02T07:38:54","slug":"skype-exploit-reveals-your-ip-address","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/technology\/48997-skype-exploit-reveals-your-ip-address.html","title":{"rendered":"Skype exploit reveals your IP address"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><\/strong>A security vulnerability in <a title=\"Skype\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/352082-Skype\">Skype<\/a>, which allows a third-party script to reveals a user&#8217;s remote and local IP address, has been discovered, according to <em>GHacks<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The script, which was posted to online code hosting service, <a title=\"Github\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/427497-Github\">Github<\/a>, allows users to lookup the IP of any online Skype contact.
