This product was introduced on 3 May and is available on the Cell C network.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLCR AnyNet will reduce the cost of telecommunications for business and will bring down the barrier to entry for small businesses hoping to take advantage of least cost routing,\u201d said <a title=\"Alan Knott-Craig (Senior)\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/224891-Alan-Knott-Craig-(Senior)\">Alan Knott-Craig<\/a>, Cell C CEO.<\/p>\n<p>Knott-Craig continued, saying that small businesses have previously been excluded from the benefits of LCR, due to the high monthly subscription rates associated with the service.<\/p>\n<p>LCR AnyNet will cost a minimum of R150 per SIM per month and will provide a flat-rate of 99c across mobile networks, and 60c to fixed-line networks.\u00a0 Cell C has put in place a specific activation process that will ensure the best quality of service to the customer.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a title=\"James Herbst\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/343117-James-Herbst\">James Herbst<\/a>, CEO of <a title=\"Huge Telecom\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/226957-Huge-Telecom\">Huge Telecom<\/a>, Cell C\u2019s Anynet package is set to be a game changer in the telecoms market.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCell C\u2019s new GSM price offering is better priced than <a title=\"Telkom\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/227037-Telkom\">Telkom<\/a> and <a title=\"Neotel\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/226979-Neotel\">Neotel\u2019s<\/a> standard retail corporate telephony offerings, as well as the retail corporate telephony offerings of the <a title=\"VoIP - Voice over IP\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/227062-VoIP\">VoIP<\/a> operators,\u201d said Herbst.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s going to be difficult for VoIP proponents to undo their recent unilateral conversions of their clients from LCR to VoIP, given the capital investments that they have made in their VoIP networks, and the new competitive threat they now potentially pose to telecom operators,\u201d explained Herbst.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related articles<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"0860 costs reduced through LCR\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/telecoms\/31600-0860-costs-reduced-through-lcr.html\"><strong>0860 costs reduced through LCR<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"GSM LCR is dead.
