<\/strong>Mobile game, Draw Something quickly rose to popularity earlier this year, racking up over 14 million daily users shortly after launch.<\/p>\n

However, since then the game has been losing daily users at an alarming rate.<\/p>\n

The game, which resembles Pictionary, hit 10 million downloads two weeks after it released, making it to the number one spot on both the free and paid app rankings on iTunes.<\/p>\n

It tallied up 50 million downloads by early April, and its daily users peaked around mid-month.<\/p>\n

Since then, however, the game has dropped to 18th on the iTunes<\/a> top paid app chart, and has a little under half of its daily user base.<\/p>\n

Market research firm, AppData<\/a> now reports that the game has just 7.6 million daily users.<\/p>\n

This doesn\u2019t seem to worry\u00a0Zynga<\/a> however, after the company spent $180 million on purchasing Draw Something developer OMGPOP in March.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe think of it as a game that’s an evergreen franchise,” said John Schappert, Zynga’s chief operating officer, “It’s a game that will live on for years.”<\/p>\n

Zynga is reportedly in talks with animation studio, DreamWorks, who will place additional advertising in the game in a bid to generate more revenue.<\/p>\n
