{"id":51105,"date":"2012-05-28T09:04:54","date_gmt":"2012-05-28T07:04:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=51105"},"modified":"2012-05-28T09:06:04","modified_gmt":"2012-05-28T07:06:04","slug":"dell-reveals-first-windows-8-tablet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/technology\/51105-dell-reveals-first-windows-8-tablet.html","title":{"rendered":"Dell reveals first Windows 8 tablet"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><\/strong>Leaked documents have unveiled <a title=\"Dell Inc.\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/354710-Dell\">Dell\u2019s<\/a> first tablet PC product that will make use of the Windows 8 operating system: the Latitude 10.<\/p>\n<p>News site, <em>Neowin<\/em> obtained documents which detail the 10-inch form-factor tablet\u2019s specifications list.<\/p>\n<p>The tablet will feature a 10.1 =-inch touch screen with a resolution of 1,366 x 768, as well as a dual-core <a title=\"Intel\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/307489-Intel\">Intel<\/a> Atom processor based on the Clover Trail platform.<\/p>\n<p>Other standout features include a fingerprint reader; 8 megapixel rear facing camera; 2 megapixel front facing camera; 2GB of RAM; and a 128GB <a title=\"solid state drive (SSD)\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/423574-SSD-Solid-State-Drive\">solid state drive (SSD)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The new tablet will come with a removable battery which will come in two sizes.
