However, Sunbird partnered with phone maker Nothing on the Nothing Chats app, which was pulled within a day of its launch after eagle-eyed users spotted significant privacy and security flaws.<\/p>\n<p>The Sunbird app has now been removed from the Google Play Store, but the company says the shutdown is only temporary.<\/p>\n<p>A Reddit user <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/Sunbird\/comments\/17yf44h\/comment\/k9uvcpp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">shared a notification<\/a><\/strong> they received from Sunbird regarding the shutdown.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are investigating the security issues raised in the last 24 hours.
