{"id":51867,"date":"2012-06-05T14:21:40","date_gmt":"2012-06-05T12:21:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=51867"},"modified":"2012-06-05T14:23:19","modified_gmt":"2012-06-05T12:23:19","slug":"uj-introduces-online-application-system","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/internet\/51867-uj-introduces-online-application-system.html","title":{"rendered":"UJ introduces online application system"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The University of Johannesburg has introduced online applications and a toll-free number for people wishing to apply for admission.<\/p>\n<p>UJ spokesman Herman Esterhuizen said students could use the toll-free number (0861 00 00 85) to seek advice if they were struggling with their online applications.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year UJ was flooded with thousands of late applicants. There were several incidents, including a stampede during which the mother of a prospective student died.
