It also referenced its &#8220;IsArcOnWindows&#8221; tracking page, which showed that the Arc browser for Windows had accumulated just <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.isarconwindowsyet.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">seven beta testers<\/a><\/strong> by publication time.<\/p>\n<p>The invitation explains that The Browser Company is &#8220;onboarding hundreds of beta testers to Arc&#8221; in the coming weeks, and it plans to expand beta testing to thousands of users each week starting in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The Arc browser <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/software\/501590-arc-browser-exits-beta-ends-waitlist.html\">officially launched on Mac and iOS<\/a><\/strong> in July 2023, following a two-year beta testing period.<\/p>\n<p>Arc promises much more than most browsers, with the company aiming to build an &#8220;operating system for the Internet&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to typical web browsing functionality, Arc features tools for taking notes, making visual easels on which other users can collaborate, and redesigning web pages to user preference.<\/p>\n<p>The Mac and iOS versions of the browser also feature a picture-in-picture mode compatible with Google Meet and a built-in ad blocker.<\/p>\n<p>The browser promises to be secure, with no support for cookies, and The Browser Company is pledging not to share data with others.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the Mac and iOS beta, The Browser Company made Arc 1.0 publicly available.
