{"id":5224,"date":"2008-09-15T12:06:00","date_gmt":"2008-09-15T10:06:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2008-09-15T12:06:00","modified_gmt":"2008-09-15T10:06:00","slug":"zoopy-goes-local","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/internet\/5224-zoopy-goes-local.html","title":{"rendered":"Zoopy goes local"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Video and multimedia hosting website <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zoopy.com\" target=\"_blank\">Zoopy.com<\/a> has moved its servers locally to make the service faster and more accessible to its target audience.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;As of today, we have servers in South Africa that will deliver Zoopy content using local bandwidth for South Africans,&rdquo; said Zoopy CEO Jason Elk.<\/p>\n<p>Zoopy is now hosted in Vodacom Business&rsquo; new data centre in Midrand.&nbsp;&nbsp; Vodacom &ndash; which purchased a 40% stake in Zoopy earlier this year &ndash; has recently built a state-of-the-art hosting facility on the company&rsquo;s Midrand campus.<\/p>\n<p>Zoopy has also just increased their upload file size limit from 100mb to 200mb.
