First National Bank (FNB)<\/a> is developing a Windows Phone 7<\/a> application according to a representative from its App team call centre.<\/p>\n

They couldn\u2019t give any indication of when the app might be released, however.<\/p>\n

The FNB App allows account holders to perform a variety of transactions, including some available only through the app such as the recently added \u201cGeo Payments\u201d option.<\/p>\n

When asked about its plans for Windows Phone 7, head of product and markets at FNB Connect, Farren Roper<\/a> said: \u201cFNB Connect is constantly looking at ways to expand its Banking App footprint across different operating systems (OS), based on demand as well as the device OS penetration\u201d.<\/p>\n

FNB officially launched its banking app in July 2011 for Android<\/a>, BlackBerry<\/a>, and iOS (Apple)<\/a> devices. Support for Nokia\u2019s<\/a> Symbian devices was added later.<\/p>\n
