{"id":5256,"date":"2008-09-17T15:46:00","date_gmt":"2008-09-17T13:46:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2008-09-17T15:46:00","modified_gmt":"2008-09-17T13:46:00","slug":"top-local-spammers-named","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/internet\/5256-top-local-spammers-named.html","title":{"rendered":"Top local spammers named"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Internet Service Providers&#8217; Association (ISPA) has recently announced its plans to fight spam which includes a periodic ISPA Hall of Shame aimed at exposing the country&rsquo;s biggest spammers.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;ISPA, as the representative of the vast majority of ISPs in South Africa, is releasing this report to assist South African consumers to effectively manage local unsolicited bulk email (which ISPA terms &quot;spam&quot;),&rdquo; the ISP association said.<\/p>\n<p>The first hall of shame was announced at this year&rsquo;s iWeek conference, and the following South African spammers were identified in the report:<\/p>\n<p>1. Database Development<br \/>2. Dynamic Seminars<br \/>3. ILLUDER.com Marketing<br \/>4. James Munro<br \/>5.
