Cell C has appointed Bryan O\u2019Donovan as chief data and analytics officer. His appointment is effective from May 2024.<\/p>\n
In his role, O\u2019Donovan will manage Cell C\u2019s data and analytics assets, spearhead data-driven decision-making, and use their data assets for growth and optimisation initiatives.<\/p>\n
O\u2019Donovan has 19 years of experience in the industry, including just under four years as a managing executive at Vodacom.<\/p>\n
From March 2020 to September 2022, he headed up commercials and pricing at Vodacom.<\/p>\n
Vodacom expanded his role to include finance business partnerships and consumer prepaid, postpaid, and fibre-to-the-home.<\/p>\n
Before Vodacom, O\u2019Donovan was at Hollard Insurance for 16 years, where he was head of actuarial product development and pricing personal lines.<\/p>\n

O\u2019Donovan holds bachelor\u2019s and honours degrees in actuarial science from Wits University.<\/p>\n
