Electronic Arts announced Monday that Zack Snyder will be the creative leader of an EA game-making team in Los Angeles at the same studio where movie-making legend Steven Spielberg is working with the US video game giant.<\/p>\n
Spielberg is working on EA games including a title called "Boom Blox."<\/p>\n
Financial details of the deal with Snyder were not released but it was revealed that EA will own the intellectual properties stemming from the alliance and publish the video games.<\/p>\n
The pact between EA and Snyder includes leaving doors open to translating video game creations into films.<\/p>\n
"I think video games are cool because they offer an opportunity to tell a story in an entirely unique way," Snyder said in a release. <\/p>\n
"Being a long time fan of the games EA creates, I look forward to collaborating with them."<\/p>\n
Snyder’s films include "The Dawn of the Dead" and "300." He is currently working on a film based on a "Watchmen" comic book series.<\/p>\n
