The overall goal is to enhance competitiveness within the broadband and wireless arena to stimulate growth in the economy.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\">BMI-T, an ICT market research consultancy, is assisting the City of Joburg\u2019s ICT Sector Support Programme and the development of a broadband enabled \u2018Smart City\u2019. This is one of the City\u2019s key initiatives for its 2030 vision.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\">The goal of this project is to explore all the options available to the City in advancing broadband and in particular wireless broadband within the City.
