But, this will depend on the completeness of the documentation that it receives. <\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\">Mtimde said Icasa had received draft documentation from the SNO last week, and hoped to receive the business plan, shareholders agreement and other documentation \u201cwithin a few days\u201d. This would enable Icasa to start the process of issuing the license, he said. <\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\">He says both parties are committed to ensuring the licensing process happens in the fastest time possible. But, if any of the required information were outstanding, it would have to request this, and this could take additional time. <\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\">But, if things go relatively according to plan, it seems the license should be granted at least within the current quarter. <\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\">Yesterday, Transnet CEO Maria Ramos confirmed that it planned to sell Transtel, the subsidiary which houses its stake in the SNO, and said Eskom was likely to do the same. Between Transtel and Eskom Telecommunications, they hold 30% of the SNO. <\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\" \/><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\">Black economic empowerment company Nexus Connexion holds 19%, and a strategic shareholder holds the 51% stake of the SNO entity.
