{"id":546616,"date":"2005-08-01T14:44:31","date_gmt":"2005-08-01T14:44:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost:8888\/wordpress\/technology\/546616-wbs-network-outage-frustrates-iburst-users.html"},"modified":"2005-08-01T14:44:31","modified_gmt":"2005-08-01T14:44:31","slug":"wbs-network-outage-frustrates-iburst-users","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/technology\/546616-wbs-network-outage-frustrates-iburst-users.html","title":{"rendered":"WBS network outage frustrates iBurst users"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><font size=\"2\">The users on the MyADSL forum have been venting their frustration at the downtime and at 12:18pm today Johannesburg and Pretoria were still down but the towers in Cape Town and Durban were back in working order.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\">An irate iBurst customer contacted the WBS helpdesk and the official response was: \u201cAll base stations are down, something must have hit us.\u201d<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\">The helpdesk was obviously overloaded as the helpdesk assistant reported that they had been inundated with calls since 12:00 today.
