These complaints resulted in a public hearing, which culminated in the ICASA ADSL Findings Report. <\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\">ADSL users now await the publication of the draft regulations in the Government Gazette. <\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\">Thereafter ICASA will again seek written comments and oral presentations from interested parties. This will take a very similar approach to the initial investigation. <\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\">All parties will again be consulted by ICASA who will then consolidate all the information and publish their final regulations.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\">While this sounds like a daunting and time consuming exercise, ICASA is confident that the full process can be completed in as little as a couple of months. <\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\">Predictably there is a tremendous amount of interest in these regulations from both industry players and consumers. <\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\">The ADSL hearings with ICASA received a record number of written submissions and oral presentations first time around. This trend looks to be repeated for the draft regulations feedback as well.<\/font><\/p>\n<p \/>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ICASA has informed MyADSL that it is on track with the ADSL draft regulations.
