This does not mean that the full service has been upgraded to 4 Mbps, but rather that subscribers\u2019 \u2018lines\u2019 have been upgraded.<\/font> <\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\">Telkom said that the projected date for implementation is the 15th of September, and it is encouraging to see that they are running ahead of schedule.<\/font> <\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\">Telkom confirmed that the upgrades started on Friday the 25th of August, and that the line synchronization portion has already been completed.<\/font> <\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\">The full service upgrade should happen over the next few days after which users will be able to put the new 4 Mbps ADSL service to the test.<\/font> <\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\">\u201c\u2026the service change portion will happen over the next few days. Only after this change will the network reflect possible increase in traffic.
