Web Africa joined the fray and boast that customers no longer need to apply for their ADSL line from Telkom.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\">According to Matthew Tagg, MD of Web Africa, this new service offers significant benefits for consumers. \u201cWeb Africa\u2019s DSL Complete packages will save customers time and money,\u201d he says. <\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\">\u201cCustomers now only need to deal with their ISP to get the full access package \u2013 they don\u2019t need to go through the protracted process of applying for ADSL lines through Telkom. A big bonus is that customers pay no set-up costs.\u201d<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\">Web Africa\u2019s DSL Complete bundles start at R275 (incl. VAT) for a 384k line and 1 Gig account and are offered month-to-month or on contract. The ISP is offering a free DSL four port router to customers who sign two year contracts. <\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\">This compares favourably with MWEB\u2019s R299 per month for a similar offering, but MWEB clients have the advantage of a free modem with a month-to-month contract.
