Dev2 will be hosting a free “Code Retreat” in Durban this weekend, aimed at boosting the skills of software developers and programmers of all levels in the greater Durban area. The event will focus on the fundamentals of software development and design.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe workshop offers software developers the opportunity for hands-on practise during a full-day session and will give attendees the opportunity to practice the basic principles of modular and object-oriented design,\u201d Dev2 said in a press statement.<\/p>\n

According to Wallis Buchan of Dev2, this event will allow developers to improve their ability to write code in a very short time.<\/p>\n

\u201cCode Retreat is a highly effective means of skill improvement and a lot of fun. We are sponsoring the event to grow the community of software developers. We really want to put Durban on the map for world-class developers \u2013 the right people and skills are here,\u201d said Buchan.<\/p>\n

Code Retreat Durban will take place on Saturday, 28 July, from 08h30 to 17h00 at Dev2 at the Bellevue Campus in Kloof. Dev2 encouraged interested people to visit the Dev2 website<\/a> or contact Wallis Buchan on Wallis.Buchan@dev2.co.za to book their free seat.<\/p>\n
