telecoms brands revealed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 2012 Sunday Times Top Brands Awards winners were unveiled recently, revealing that Vodacom is the country\u2019s top telecoms brand.<\/p>\n<p>The Top Brands survey, conducted by TNS Research Surveys, assessed the strength of brands in South Africa using various criteria, including familiarity, brand rating and experience, and public perception.<\/p>\n<p>According to the survey results, Vodacom is the top consumer telecoms provider, followed by MTN, Cell C, Telkom, and 8ta.<\/p>\n<p>In the business telecoms provider category, Vodacom also reigned supreme, followed by MTN, Nashua Mobile, Altech Autopage, Neotel, Telkom and Telkom Business.<\/p>\n<p>In the 2011 Sunday Times Top Brands survey, MTN was the top consumer telecoms provider, which means that Vodacom overtook its rival in the 2012 survey.<\/p>\n<p>Koo was named as the top brand in South Africa, followed by KFC, and Rama.<\/p>\n<div
