The Iranian minister of communication and information technology has expressed his concern with the state of the Internet and its controlling powers.<\/p>\n

Speaking at an Iranian university event, Muhamoud Ahmadinejad said that the web is unreliable because it is in the hands of \u201cone or two specific countries\u201d.<\/p>\n

Ahmadinejad explained how the West\u2019s watchful eye over the Internet isn\u2019t productive for information distribution.<\/p>\n

To remedy this, it was revealed in January that Iran is building its own internet network called the I”ranian Narrow Web”.<\/p>\n
