Afrihost will be moving their ADSL services from Internet Solutions (IS) to MTN in a move which the company said will help them to \u201cbring the highest quality, best value products to our clients\u201d. This move will affect both Afrihost and Axxess clients.<\/p>\n
Afrihost is closely linked with Internet Solutions, and has been driving both ADSL services and hosting services with IS as a wholesale partner. This is set to change with Afrihost\u2019s MTN partnership.<\/p>\n
\u201cOne of the key things we looked at in offering MTN services was their excellent local and international network redundancy, which will mean better uptime for our clients,\u201d said Afrihost director Greg Payne.<\/p>\n
\u201cAt this point we are still finalising what services will be offered through MTN and will share this as soon as we have finalised the planning.\u201d<\/p>\n
Payne said that their clients remain their main priority and they believe that this move will improve many aspects of their service.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are working closely with MTN to ensure that the move is completely seamless for all clients affected. As soon we have exact time frames regarding the move we will let everyone know the details,\u201d said Payne.<\/p>\n
Afrihost will, however, not move all their services to MTN. \u201cWe will continue to partner with IS to deliver certain of our product offerings – IS has been a wonderful partner in the past and will continue to be into the future,\u201d Payne highlighted.<\/p>\n
