Vodacom has recently unveiled its new ‘Internet Daily’ data promotion, offering subscribers 5MB of data for R5 and 20MB of data for R12. The out of bundle rate for Vodacom’s ‘Internet Daily’ data promotion is R2 per MB, and the data will last until midnight on the day it was purchased.<\/p>\n

“Internet Daily is a new Prepaid once-off data bundle that is available until midnight on the day of purchase. It’s great for those who want a taste of the Internet without committing to a Contract, and without the stress of bill shock,” Vodacom said on its website.<\/p>\n

Curiously Vodacom’s own MyMeg 10 data bundle, priced at R9, offers data at a similar rate to the ‘Internet Daily’ bundles but with a data lifetime of up to 60 days (instead of a maximum of 1 day with Internet Daily).<\/p>\n

This data promotion from Vodacom comes at the same time as Cell C’s announcement that they have launched a flat rated 15c per MB (in-bundle and out-of-bundle) for all its data bundles.<\/p>\n
