{"id":572,"date":"2007-07-09T15:09:00","date_gmt":"2007-07-09T13:09:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2007-07-09T15:09:00","modified_gmt":"2007-07-09T13:09:00","slug":"ispa-iweek-raring-to-go","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/technology\/572-ispa-iweek-raring-to-go.html","title":{"rendered":"ISPA iWeek raring to go"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Internet Service Providers&#39; Association of SA (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ispa.org.za\" target=\"_blank\">ISPA<\/a>) and UniForum SA&#39;s annual industry get together &#8211; to be held from 5 to 7 September 2007 in Johannesburg &#8211; will see technologists, product leaders and decision makers descending on the Campus in Bryanston to debate issues while solutions providers showcase their wares at the exhibition.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;iWeek provides an opportunity for ISPs, industry players and network operators to meet and catch up on the latest developments affecting the industry,&quot; said Ant Brooks, ISPA General Manager.<\/p>\n<p>This years International speakers include CEO of Ignite Consulting &amp; Ignite Technologies Njeri Rionge, co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer of the Cloud Niall Murphy, contributing scientist on CenterGate&#39;s UltraDNS Bill Manning as well as Senior Legal Counsel for Nominet UK Nick Wenban-Smith. Access will be provided to speakers&#39; presentations, providing insight into local and international trends.<\/p>\n<p>ISPs such as DataPro, Verizon, Internet Solutions, iBurst, MTN NS, Neotel and Storm Telecom will provide information including resale and other opportunities available to the industry.<\/p>\n<p>Specific topics to be discussed at iWeek include Triple-play in the Townships, the Nominet DRS and ZA Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) process, as well as online phishing &amp; e-Evidence.<\/p>\n<p>As in previous years, the &quot;Super Teacher of the Year&quot; awards will also take place at iWeek. The awards recognise teachers that have participated in ISPA&#39;s &quot;Train the Teacher&#39;s&quot; project and successfully imparted their newly-acquired knowledge to their local communities.<\/p>\n<p>Technology solutions providers have the opportunity to become sponsors of the conference thereby exposing themselves to a highly focused audience, maximising marketing spend. Exhibitors are offered reasonably-priced opportunities to exhibit and market their products using free-standing uniform stands which are self-sufficient and user friendly.
