{"id":57303,"date":"2012-08-14T23:23:21","date_gmt":"2012-08-14T21:23:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=57303"},"modified":"2012-08-14T23:24:54","modified_gmt":"2012-08-14T21:24:54","slug":"cell-c-improving-network-performance-and-coverage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/cellular\/57303-cell-c-improving-network-performance-and-coverage.html","title":{"rendered":"Cell C improving network performance and coverage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cell C CEO, Alan Knott-Craig, said from the outset that a world-class network is a key component of becoming a strong mobile player in South Africa, and the company has made significant strides in achieving better coverage and better network performance.<\/p>\n<p>Knott-Craig told MyBroadband that much time and effort has gone into Cell C&#8217;s network, which includes wider coverage, better support and better overall network performance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCell C is expediting its network rollout to ensure that our coverage footprint is expanded to reach our customers better where they are located and to ensure seamless coverage in those areas,\u201d said Knott-Craig.<\/p>\n<p>Cell C is also expanding its indoor coverage in buildings, and is increasing its core network capacity. The company\u2019s HSPA+ footprint is also growing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCell C is expanding its HSPA+ network to provide more customers with higher speed services.
