{"id":5788,"date":"2008-10-31T00:30:00","date_gmt":"2008-10-30T22:30:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2008-10-31T00:30:00","modified_gmt":"2008-10-30T22:30:00","slug":"diamond-cellphone","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/cellular\/5788-diamond-cellphone.html","title":{"rendered":"Diamond cellphone"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For those not feeling the global economic crisis &#8211; and not content just to wear diamond earrings &#8211; a Japanese company unveiled a line of mobile telephones encrusted with diamonds (<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/photos\/showphoto.php\/photo\/7624\" target=\"_blank\">Softbank 823SH Tiffany diamond cellphone image<\/a>)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Japan&rsquo;s Softbank Mobile said it will sell 10 of the phones, each studded with 537 diamonds of 18.34 carats from Tiffany &amp; Co.<\/p>\n<p>The &quot;Softbank 823SH Tiffany&quot; phone will sell for around 1.3 million yen (13,265 dollars), the company said.
