<\/em><\/strong>This year\u2019s IFA consumer electronics expo is drawing significant attention thanks to rumours of high-profile product unveilings.<\/p>\n

Sony, Toshiba, Samsung, and Lenovo will all be present and are expected to reveal a number of new devices and technologies within the market.<\/p>\n

Sony\u2019s 84-inch 4K TV\u00a0 <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Sony is rumoured to announce its first 4K, 84-inch LCD TV at the show.<\/p>\n

Sony is planning to give the TV a \u201cre-imagined retro-style appearance with a modern twist.\u201d<\/p>\n

The TV can display a massive 4096 x 3072 resolution (four times the number of pixels in a conventional 1080p set), being referred to in the industry as 4K.<\/p>\n

New Sony Xperia tablet PC

Sony is speculated to be unveiling a new Xperia quad-core tablet PC, featuring a keyboard\/cover similar to that of Microsoft\u2019s Surface tablet.<\/p>\n

The Xperia\u00a0Tablet\u00a0will be equipped with a quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 3G connectivity and 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB of internal storage.<\/p>\n

The slate will feature a 6,000 mAh battery that will supply roughly 10 hours of Wi-Fi browsing, and will support\u00a0Android\u00a04.0 and following versions.<\/p>\n

Next Sony Xperia handsets\u00a0 <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Along with a new Xperia tablet, rumours have been circulating regarding new Android Xperia devices.<\/p>\n

The Xperia T is said to feature a dual-core Snapdragon S4 chip, a 4.3-inch 1280 x 720 pixel display, and 13-megapixel\u00a0Exmor RS camera sensor.<\/p>\n

The Sony Xperia J is a lower-cost model in the Xperia range, with a 4-inch screen and relatively low-powered 800MHz processor.<\/p>\n

Samsung Galaxy Note 2\u00a0 <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Samsung has confirmed that the company will show its next Galaxy Note device at IFA, although not much is known about it.<\/p>\n

Speculated to be the Galaxy Note II, the device is rumoured to <\/strong>feature a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED 1280 x 720 display, an Exynos 4412 quad-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz, an 8MP rear-facing camera, 3G and 4G LT E connectivity, 16\/32GB storage sizes and will apparently come loaded with Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean.<\/p>\n

LG Optimus G <\/strong><\/h3>\n

LG recently revealed its Optimus G<\/a>, and are expected to show off the company’s most-powerful smartphone to date.<\/p>\n

In addition to being powered by Qualcomm\u2019s new S4 Pro quad-core processor, the smartphone features Android 4.0 Ice-cream Sandwich, 4.7-inch 1280 x 768 True HD IPS+ display, 2GB RAM, 13-megapixel camera, and 2100 mAh battery.<\/p>\n
