<\/em><\/strong>The next iPhone will simply be called \u201cthe new iPhone\u201d if a leaked picture is to be believed.<\/p>\n

Published by iPhonenieuwsblog.nl, the image is reportedly of the next upcoming <\/em>iPhone iteration\u2019s packaging, fresh off a massive printing press. And within, clear as day, is the new iPhone with five vertical rows of icons, and the wording \u201cthe new iPhone.\u201d<\/p>\n

Apple\u2019s dropping of numerical designation to devices is to be expected after the iPad 3 emerged to be dubbed \u201cThe New iPad\u201d shortly before its launch.<\/p>\n

Apple has announced that it is holding a press event on 12 September, creating the assumption that the iPhone 5 will be shown there.<\/p>\n
