{"id":5936,"date":"2008-11-11T10:29:00","date_gmt":"2008-11-11T08:29:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2008-11-11T10:29:00","modified_gmt":"2008-11-11T08:29:00","slug":"vodacom-grows-customer-base","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/telecoms\/5936-vodacom-grows-customer-base.html","title":{"rendered":"Vodacom grows customer base"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cellular operator Vodacom said on Tuesday that its total customers increased by 13.1% to 35.7 million at the end of September 2008 compared with a year ago.<\/p>\n<p>The information was released on Tuesday as it is contained in Vodafone&#8217;s financial results announcement released today.<\/p>\n<p>Pieter Uys, CEO of the Vodacom Group, said: &quot;These provisional results demonstrate once again strong growth in Vodacom&#8217;s business.
