{"id":59941,"date":"2012-09-14T16:29:50","date_gmt":"2012-09-14T14:29:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=59941"},"modified":"2012-09-14T16:38:59","modified_gmt":"2012-09-14T14:38:59","slug":"apple-pushes-back-iphone-5-orders","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/gadgets\/59941-apple-pushes-back-iphone-5-orders.html","title":{"rendered":"Apple pushes back iPhone 5 orders"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With a flood of orders coming for the new iPhone 5, <a title=\"Apple\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/342717-Apple-inc\">Apple<\/a> pushed back delivery times for the new device on its website Friday (14 September 2012).<\/p>\n<p>Apple&#8217;s US website said that for those ordering the new smartphone, shipping would be in two weeks, a week later than promised.<\/p>\n<p>The new iPhone may be available at Apple retail outlets and third party sellers starting September 21.<\/p>\n<p>According to specialized websites, Apple exhausted its initial supply within 60 minutes of opening pre-orders on its website.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;One hour after pre-orders went live tonight, Apple.com shifted shipping expectations from one to two weeks due to the overwhelming demand,&#8221;
