While not explicitly mentioned in the promotion’s announcement, DStv has also quietly cut the cost of its HD Single View decoder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The hardware typically costs R699, excluding installation, and R1,299 with installation. However, until 31 December 2025, customers can get the decoder for R299, and for R699 with installation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Get your DStv HD decoder for just R299, our way of saying thank you for 30 amazing years,” the broadcaster’s website reads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
DStv recently ran an Open Time promotion over the weekend of 8 and 9 November 2025, enabling subscribers paying as little as R139 per month to access the R799-per-month Premium bouquet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Immediately after the Open Time weekend, DStv announced its Thol-iUpsize promotion, which provides decoder customers on lower-tier packages free upgrades to higher tiers until 31 December 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Access and Family customers have been upgraded to the Compact package, while Compact and Compact Plus customers can access the DStv Premium bouquet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, subscribers on the highest-tier, Premium, package haven’t been left out. These customers get access to up to four concurrent streams until 31 December 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the same time, DStv will offer its streaming customers additional rewards during the promotional period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The broadcaster has also relaunched its online store with the intention of making it easier for customers to buy its products and have them delivered to their doorstep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
