This page has been taken down this morning and was replaced with \u2018coming soon\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>According to the earlier version of the page, <a href=\"http:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2012\/10\/16\/microsoft-surface-rt-priced-32gb-for-499-without-touch-cover-599-with-64gb-for-699\/\" target=\"_blank\">published<\/a> by TechCrunch, Microsoft will make three versions of the device available:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>32GB Surface without a Black Touch Cover for $499<\/li>\n<li>32GB Surface with a Black Touch Cover for $599<\/li>\n<li>64GB Surface with a Black Touch Cover for $699<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>According to the screenshot Surface Type Covers will be priced at $119 (White) and $129 (Black).<\/p>\n<p>The Microsoft website further stated that pre-orders will be accepted for delivery by 26 October 2012, the same day <a title=\"Windows\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/360852-Windows\">Windows<\/a> 8 is set to launch.<\/p>\n<p>South African pricing has not been released, but according to Microsoft technical evangelist\u00a0Jarrod Hermer, the Surface will not be available locally on the launch day of Windows
