{"id":63172,"date":"2012-10-26T12:37:08","date_gmt":"2012-10-26T10:37:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=63172"},"modified":"2012-10-29T08:40:07","modified_gmt":"2012-10-29T06:40:07","slug":"surface-tablet-a-confusing-product-apple-ceo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/technology\/63172-surface-tablet-a-confusing-product-apple-ceo.html","title":{"rendered":"Surface tablet a &#8220;confusing&#8221; product \u2013 Apple CEO"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><\/strong><a title=\"Apple\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/342717-Apple-Inc\">Apple<\/a>&#8216;s CEO, <a title=\"Tim Cook\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/360542-Tim-Cook\">Tim Cook<\/a>, has taken some shots at <a title=\"Microsoft\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/211580-Microsoft\">Microsoft<\/a>\u2019s Surface tablet.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at Apple\u2019s fourth-quarter earnings conference, Cook described Microsoft\u2019s piece of hardware as a &#8220;fairly compromised, confusing product.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Cook went on to express that the Surface tablet doesn\u2019t exactly fall into a laptop or tablet category, and won\u2019t live up to either of those purposes.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;One of the toughest things you do with what product to make, is to make hard trade-offs and decide what a product should be, and we&#8217;ve really done that with the iPad, so the user experience is incredible.
