{"id":63586,"date":"2012-10-31T10:04:00","date_gmt":"2012-10-31T08:04:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=63586"},"modified":"2012-10-31T14:48:30","modified_gmt":"2012-10-31T12:48:30","slug":"acer-windows-rt-tablets-delayed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/gadgets\/63586-acer-windows-rt-tablets-delayed.html","title":{"rendered":"Acer Windows RT tablets delayed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Taiwanese computer maker <a title=\"Acer\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/352522-Acer\">Acer<\/a> is putting off the launch of tablets using <a title=\"Microsoft\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/211580-Microsoft\">Microsoft<\/a>\u2019s new Windows RT operating system to give itself time to see how Microsoft\u2019s own Surface tablet fares.<\/p>\n<p>The world\u2019s No. 4 PC vendor by shipments initially planned to roll out Windows RT tablets based on <a title=\"ARM\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/464427-ARM-Holdings\">ARM<\/a> chips early next year.
