Plugg<\/a>, the consumer division of Internet Solutions (IS<\/a>), has unveiled its new uncapped ADSL promotion with aggressively priced residential ADSL products.<\/p>\n

Pricing for Plugg\u2019s uncapped ADSL products start at R99 for a 384kbps account, increasing to R1,299 for an uncapped 10Mbps service.<\/p>\n

Plugg states on its website that these accounts are semi-shaped, and allow for 2 concurrent connections.<\/p>\n

Each account further comes with 100MB hotspot access, and is available on a month to month basis.<\/p>\n

Free low-latency ADSL accounts<\/strong><\/p>\n

Openweb<\/a> is offering ADSL users 1GB free ADSL data on its “Gold level” ADSL network. According to Openweb these accounts offer low latency, and are aimed at gamers which have been struggling with high latency recently.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have noticed that clients from various ISPs are suffering from high latency, effectively preventing gamers from playing online games. We are helping out by granting access to our Gold level ADSL network to the first 200 folks to take us up on this obligation free offer,\u201d said Openweb\u2019s Keoma Wright<\/a>.<\/p>\n

These accounts offer low latency, high priority bandwidth with IPC nodes in Johannesburg and Cape Town.<\/p>\n

The free 1GB Openweb accounts will not auto renew, when means that consumers will not be required to cancel the account if they no longer want to use it after November.<\/p>\n
