{"id":64376,"date":"2012-11-09T17:19:04","date_gmt":"2012-11-09T15:19:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=64376"},"modified":"2012-11-09T17:27:17","modified_gmt":"2012-11-09T15:27:17","slug":"saix-problem-causes-connectivity-chaos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/internet\/64376-saix-problem-causes-connectivity-chaos.html","title":{"rendered":"SAIX problem causes connectivity chaos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Numerous broadband users and Internet Service Providers (ISPs) have<a title=\"SAIX problems\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/481864-SAIX-Outage\" target=\"_blank\"><strong> reported connectivity issues<\/strong><\/a> which seems to be linked to problems on the SAIX network.<\/p>\n<p>ADSL subscribers reported that they are struggling to connect to both local and international websites and services.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Internet Solutions\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/226430-Internet-Solutions\">Internet Solutions<\/a> and <a title=\"MWEB\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/226947-MWeb\">MWEB<\/a> alerted their subscribers that the connectivity issues are caused by problems on the SAIX network.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPlease note that there is currently an issue with MWEB to SAIX peering in both Johannesburg and Cape Town. This will affect members trying to access SAIX based services and SAIX based members accessing MWEB based services.
