ASP Isotopes’ share price increased by approximately 33% between Thursday, 21 May 2026 and Tuesday, 26 May. It opened at R83.50 on 21 May and closed at R110.72 on 26 May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During an interview on Business Day TV<\/a>, Verster was asked about ASP Isotopes’ share price rising 11% in a single day and whether he thought it was a good investment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n “I don’t have a reason for you for today’s movement, but I have looked at it,” he said. “I would say it’s very speculative. It’s a company based on an untested technology.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n “It’s a company whose valuation is based on what will happen in future, not what they have delivered in the past.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n Verster described ASP Isotopes as a company still finding its feet in implementing proper financial controls, meeting deadlines, and establishing a mature control environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n “There are some potential legal issues if you read the risk disclosure in the Securities and Exchange Commission filings,” Verster said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n “I’m watching ASP Isotopes from the sidelines to see what they are able to do with the promises they’ve made.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n MyBroadband asked ASP Isotopes about Verster’s remarks, but it did not respond to our request for comment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Fuzzy Panda Research released a scathing report in November 2024, alleging that ASP Isotopes’s technology was outdated and unlikely to be commercially viable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Following this report, Grabar Law Office announced that it would investigate the claims on behalf of the shareholders of ASP Isotopes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It aimed to determine whether ASP Isotopes and some of its officers and directors violated federal securities laws and breached their fiduciary duties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As a result, ASP Isotopes has been embroiled in a securities fraud class action complaint that will play out in the United States legal system. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The case was filed at the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York in 2025.
