{"id":65028,"date":"2012-11-19T16:00:49","date_gmt":"2012-11-19T14:00:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=65028"},"modified":"2012-11-19T22:49:29","modified_gmt":"2012-11-19T20:49:29","slug":"cell-c-network-problems-explained","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/cellular\/65028-cell-c-network-problems-explained.html","title":{"rendered":"Cell C network problems explained"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Following confirmation of widespread issues on its network, <a title=\"Cell C\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/213919-Cell-C\">Cell C<\/a> has told MyBroadband that it traced the cause of its problems in Cape Town to a faulty transmitter on Table Mountain.<\/p>\n<p>A Cell C spokesperson said that the transmitter caused interference in their 3G frequency band and that they were informed that the faulty transmitter was <a title=\"Sentech\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/220208-Sentech\">Sentech<\/a>\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p>The problem has been resolved, Cell C said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe other reported issues in Durban and Midrand by a small group of customers were all different and were normal day-to-day issues,\u201d Cell C said.
