margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">Amazon Prime subscriptio<\/span>n<\/a> in South Africa, offering free and fast delivery, video streaming, and cloud gaming for R59 per month or R399 per year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amazon Sub-Saharan Africa managing director, Robert Koen, said the company was thrilled to offer South African customers world-class shopping and entertainment benefits in a single membership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Since launching Amazon in South Africa two years ago, we have built a store our customers love, with a great selection of local and international products backed by a reliable delivery experience,&#8221; Koen said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We are thrilled to offer South African customers world-class shopping and entertainment benefits in a single membership through Amazon Prime.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At launch, the benefits of the Prime subscription in South Africa include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Free Same-Day and Next-Day Delivery<\/strong> on a wide range of items with no minimum spend.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Exclusive access to Prime Day<\/strong>, Amazon&#8217;s annual global shopping event. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Early access to great deals throughout the year<\/strong>, including Black Friday.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Prime Video streaming subscription<\/strong>, previously priced at R79 standalone in South Africa.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Amazon Luna Cloud gaming subscription<\/strong>, supporting streaming titles like <em>Hogwarts Legacy,\u202fIndiana Jones<\/em>\u00a0<em>and<\/em>\u00a0<em>the Great Circle<\/em>,\u202fand\u00a0<em>Fortnite<\/em>\u202f<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Free monthly Twitch channel subscription<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The delivery benefit is available for unlimited orders of Prime eligible items across a wide range of categories, including everyday essentials, shoes, electronics, home, sporting gear and kitchen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unlimited free same-day delivery is offered on all orders placed before&nbsp;midday&nbsp;in Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Pretoria with no minimum order spend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amazon also announced its first Prime Day promotion in South Africa will run from&nbsp;23&nbsp;to 29&nbsp;June 2026, providing subscribers with exclusive deals and discounts on thousands of items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Customers can sign up for Prime at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.co.za\/prime\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.amazon.co.za\/prime<\/a>\u202ffor a 30-day free trial and then join for a monthly fee of R59 or an annual fee of R399, working out to a saving of 44%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u202fAmazon Prime vice president Jamil Ghani said the company had observed first-hand how Prime transformed the way members shop and enjoy entertainment around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;In every new country we&#8217;ve launched, Prime has become an indispensable part of members&#8217;
