Apple\u2019s hotly anticipated iPhone 5 launched in South Africa on Friday (14 December 2012), and it is available on all four mobile operators.<\/p>\n

Previously 8ta did not have the iPhone on offer.<\/p>\n

The iPhone 5 is also available through Apple Premium Resellers such as iStore and Digicape without a contract.<\/p>\n

Three models of iPhone 5 are available, named for the amount of storage space built into the device: 16GB, 32GB, 64GB.<\/p>\n

Due to the large number of contracts available at launch, deals for different models are split into separate tables and arranged from cheapest to most expensive.<\/p>\n

Only deals that include data are shown, and it should be noted that Cell C\u2019s prices are only valid for the first 1,000 customers:<\/p>\n

Vodacom hasn\u2019t listed any deals for the 32GB and 64GB iPhone 5 on its website, so the next two tables don\u2019t show any contracts from the network.<\/p>\n

For those interested in getting an iPhone 5 without a monthly contract, iStore advertises the 16GB model for R8,299.<\/p>\n

iStore also listed the 32GB iPhone 5 for R9,499, while a 64GB model is set to cost R10,799.<\/p>\n

iStore customers can add R300 to the purchase price of their iPhone for \u201ciCare Plus\u201d, which offers a 2 year warranty and accidental damage cover.<\/p>\n

According to the iStore website they have completely sold out of launch stock, but they \u201cexpect more stock soon\u201d.<\/p>\n
