{"id":67660,"date":"2013-01-02T09:39:40","date_gmt":"2013-01-02T07:39:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=67660"},"modified":"2013-01-03T09:44:27","modified_gmt":"2013-01-03T07:44:27","slug":"toptv-website-hacked-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/security\/67660-toptv-website-hacked-2.html","title":{"rendered":"TopTV website hacked"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a title=\"TopTV\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/385929-TopTV\">TopTV<\/a> website has been hacked, but the company is mum regarding sensitive information which may have been obtained through this security breach.<\/p>\n<p>MyBroadband received information about the security breach early on Tuesday, 1 January 2013, and according to one TopTV visitor, the security breach affected TopTV\u2019s home page and contact page.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the affected pages had been restored or replaced by temporary pages by Wednesday morning (2 January), but at least one page still displayed the message \u201cHackeado por HighTech Brazil HackTeam No\\One &#8211; CrazyDuck &#8211; Otrasher &#8211; L34NDR0\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>TopTV\u2019s <a title=\"Heather Kennedy\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/494718-Heather-Kennedy\">Heather Kennedy<\/a> said that they are aware of the breach of security on its website.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe IT department was working on the problem all day yesterday, New Year\u2019s Day.
