pricing comparison"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>iBurst recently announced significant tariff reductions on its WiMAX product offerings effective from February 2009.&nbsp; The price for a 512Kbps WiMax service with 5GB shaped bandwidth is now R690 a month, down from the previous R855 a month.&nbsp; For the same service with 10GB shaped bandwidth it is R970, down from R1199 a month.<\/p>\n<p>The price of a 1 Mbps WiMax service with 5GB of bandwidth is reduced from R995 to R760 per month while the 10GB option will now cost R1040 instead of R1335.&nbsp; Similar price cuts were made for iBurst&rsquo;s WiMax Broadband service with unshaped bandwidth and iBurst WiMax Assured service offerings.<\/p>\n<p>These are significant price reductions, but how does iBurst&rsquo;s Broadband WiMax service compare with similar offerings from Neotel, Telkom, Vodacom or even its own iBurst Wireless service?<\/p>\n<p>The table below gives a basic broadband pricing comparison for 5GB and 10GB
