Vodacom<\/a> expects to offer the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0<\/a> from May 2013, a spokesperson for the operator recently told MyBroadband.<\/p>\n

Samsung<\/a> had previously revealed that it plans to start selling the tablet PC in South Africa from April 2013.<\/p>\n

The device features a 1.6GHz A9 quad-core processor, 8-inch WXGA (1280\u00d7800) touch display, Samsung\u2019s \u201cS-Pen\u201d stylus, and runs on Android<\/a> Jelly Bean 4.1.2.<\/p>\n

MTN and Cell C have also confirmed that they plan to offer the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, but both networks said that they will only be able to provide pricing and launch dates closer to the time.<\/p>\n
