{"id":74765,"date":"2013-04-04T19:26:09","date_gmt":"2013-04-04T17:26:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=74765"},"modified":"2013-04-04T20:57:35","modified_gmt":"2013-04-04T18:57:35","slug":"iburst-network-outage-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/wireless\/74765-iburst-network-outage-update.html","title":{"rendered":"iBurst network outage update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>iBurst has confirmed that their network outage was caused by the confiscation of network equipment by the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA).<\/p>\n<p>iBurst\u2019s network went down yesterday morning, but to date the company would not officially comment on what was behind the network outage.<\/p>\n<p>Industry sources said that the outage was caused by core network equipment attachment by ICASA at the MTN Gallo Manor data centre.
