{"id":76362,"date":"2013-04-24T09:57:25","date_gmt":"2013-04-24T07:57:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=76362"},"modified":"2013-04-24T11:24:41","modified_gmt":"2013-04-24T09:24:41","slug":"aarto-website-hacked","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/security\/76362-aarto-website-hacked.html","title":{"rendered":"AARTO website hacked"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The website for Administrative Adjudication of Road Traffic Offences (AARTO) has been hacked and as of this morning (24 April 2013) displays a screen announcing the fact.<\/p>\n<p>According to the hacker&#8217;s calling card, they go by the name \u201crEd X\u201d and is \u201cproud to be a Bangladeshi hacker\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The hacker goes on to admonish the website administrators: \u201cDear admin, secure your site!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to the hacker&#8217;s report, the webserver was running Linux and Apache, and based on the most recently cached version of the site in Google Cache, the site website itself was built using the Joomla!
