Vodacom<\/a> has revealed that there are currently 3.1 million BlackBerry<\/a> phones, 1 million Android<\/a> smartphones, 600,000 iOS\/iPhones<\/a> and 150,000 Windows<\/a> mobile devices on its network.<\/p>\n

In its preliminary results for the year ended 31 March 2013, Vodacom said that it has 6 million\u00a0active smartphones on its network, an increase of 1.2 million year-on-year.<\/p>\n

BlackBerry remains the most popular smartphone on the Vodacom network, but its growth has slowed significantly.<\/p>\n

In March Vodacom said that it had 3 million BlackBerry devices, 800,000 Android phones, 400,000 iOS\/iPhones and 165,000 Windows smartphones on its network.<\/p>\n
